My Bio
I've been drawing since I could pick up a crayon- and have always had a fascination with eyes- hence they are unwittingly the focus of most of my pieces. I like working in bright colours, and with any patterns that pop through. Growing up in Africa and Asia predisposed me to really enjoying colour and patterning... I guess it shows somehow through my work. Any more questions, contact me via my website at www.darielgreen.com

Hey all- So finally posted a piece today that I just finished- first work that I have been able to get out in months.  My sister's cancer diagnosis ended up being much more severe than we hoped- she has stage IV breast cancer that has spread to her liver, lymph nodes and bones, and has now begun aggressive chemotherapy.  We are hoping for a miracle.  During the same week that I found out about my sister's cancer, I found out that my husband and I are expecting a baby!  A lot of bittersweet moments in the past few months as a result.  Anyway, will hopefully be able to get some more stuff up this week coming- have a bunch of stuff that I began

It's been my last week at university... which might go down as the craziest week in the history of my life.  A lot of stuff has happened in the last seven days, with the biggest shock being that my 38 year old sister has been diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer.  Wierd... her husband and she live a healthy and active lifestyle, and have three small girls- one of who is 9 months old.  She doesn't smoke, she exercises regularly, and eats well.  I can't help but wonder why her.  Fingers crossed it all goes well... and she completely recovers.  Anywho... as a result, I doubt I'll be posting too much in the next little bit.  Bear with me. Hi Dariel it's Turtle. I'm not sure what to say, it's been awhile.
Hey Turtle! I wrote you back on Etsy! Soo good to hear from you! What are you doing and where are you living these days? Email me and catch me up!!! :)
I know this is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy late, but thank you, Dariel, for liking my huge pain in the butt painting. Parrish is one of my favorite painters, and considered the first commercial artist.
